This painting was inspired by the type of growth new plants put on when they get their chance to have good soil, good water, and good sun. I made this essentially orange because I feel like botanical growth has a sunny energy, even if the leaves are most often green. I also put a bluish color in the center of the growth because that is its most secret and to me, magical place--the center of the growth energy.
