The moon is so low and bright rising behind the dark, silent lodge. No one has dared to use that old place for years, and it's remarkably free of graffiti or broken windows. Nearby, a procession of the spirits of the dead--or perhaps just the traveling souls of the more skilled sort of witch--streams up the hill and rises to the heavens to ride the energy currants far, far. Beyond the ridge of the hill lies the town, which might watch what's happening but not too long. They are happy to mind their own business. A few crows, friends of the dead and witches alike, head home after making a night of it.
