Some are able to loose their soul from the body and roam the physical world. In such cases, they might be seen by those around them as forms of light, especially at night. When one is separated from one's body this way, the senses are strengthened rather than dimmed, and the very molecules of the air and waves of light, scents, and sound touch the soul's body like mist.
