I got interested in the connection between peyote and datura and how they are worked with by tribes in the Southwest. Peyote is an important friend in spiritual work for the people of that area. I love the shape of the cacti and the beauty of the land and so decided to paint them together. This is one of a series I did on the two plants. Click on the image to see a large view.
