Forgotten Lands Print

$ 74.00

In this painting, I envisioned an aerial view of desert lands that were so far away that people had forgotten they were there. I was inspired by a section on a map called The Empty Quarter. I thought such a land might not be so empty. Surely various types of animals and plants much live there, but also, where there was no so much "noise" from human habitation, maybe the land itself could dream louder and have a much stronger sense of itself. Maybe it even ensured that it continued to be forgotten in order to prolong the strength of its awakeness.

The giclee print is 16 x 20"/41 x 51cm on heavy cotton watercolor paper and is ready to frame.
