Blue Heart Print
This watercolor painting was based on photos I took of old beech trees in a nearby cemetery that goes back to the 1700s. That's given many of the trees a lot of time to grow and to become grand seniors. I liked how this particular tree had not only a sort of elephant skin but that its center was gently branched in two, both showing and hiding a sort of secret space, which I depicted with blue pigment.
The giclee prints are on archival cotton watercolor paper and are ready to frame.
