Henbane Still Life Print
Not your mother's still life. No overwrought flowers or too plump fruit, but a witch's smoke, featuring one of my favorite plants of the Poison Path, henbane. I show a stalk of dried pods, out of one of which the seeds have been emptied onto the table, which makes them handy to add to the smoke. In the foreground are dried mullein leaves, ready to be crumbled and mixed with some seeds in the mortar and pestle. Next to the mullein leaves is a match case, so everything is ready for a witchy smoke.
This giclee print is 9x12"/23x30cm on archival watercolor paper and is ready to frame. The original oil painting has been sold.
