I wanted to somehow depict the action of a curse on the individual target. Here, the witch's magical energy (blue) ties up that of the target, hindering it, and takes over some aspects of the target, misdirecting it. Don't make a witch mad. :) The original oil painting on canvas is 11 x 14"/28 x 30cm and has been sold.
