I began this painting without any particular image in mind, using the Surrealist method of simply allowing the image to arise from the paint as I applied it. I ended up with tree-like shapes that I further developed into a night forest imbibing moonlight, drinking down the freely-fiven, chill pale blood of the moon.  

The original mixed media painting is 9 x 12"/23 x 30cm on heavy cotton watercolor paper and is ready to frame. The museum quality print on archival paper is 9 x 12".
